Tomorrow, EvolutionHotel athlete Line Kolbe will make her debut as a female bodybuilder in Göteborg, Sweden at this year’s Fitnessfestivalen. The last one and a half years, she has worked very hard to make the switch from being a figure competitor to becoming a bodybuilder. We wish her all the best for the big day as well as hope that her competition experience is all that she wants it to be and more.

Three Evolutionhotel athletes competed in Norway open on September 26th: Lene Wakefield(bodyfitness +163cm), Christina Marostordai (bodyfitness -163cm) and Josefa Tariche (bodyfitness -163cm).

Lene Wakefield repeated her victory from the Danish Nationals and carried yet another gold medal home to the collection. Lene brought a sleek looking physique with a superb conditioning at this event. Her small waist and beautiful flowing lines earned her the title. Lene's next competition will be The Nordic Championships on October 24, 2010.

Christina Marostordai has had a one-year break from competition and has refined her physique, rounder shapes and a little softer feminine look earned her third spot in this tough line of competitors. What makes Christina's appearance even more remarkable is that she made the decision to compete just 13 days out from the show. A tough diet and cardio regimen for 13 days brought her physique very close to where it needs to be. Had she had another 2 weeks of preparation the title could have very well fallen into Christina's hands.
This just goes to show that if you stay close to your competition weight off-season that you don't have to say no to arising opportunities and long exhausting diets will be something that belongs in the past.

Josefa Tariche is our newcomer. She debuted at the Danish Nationals 4 weeks ago where she took 3rd in the short class and 2nd in masters (over 35). She has only been training seriously for competition for 6 months. She has an incredible amount of talent and can go far in this sport. At her first International competition In Norway, she took a respectable 5th place among seasoned competitors. Next stop for her is the Nordic Championships in 3 weeks.

You’ve all been able to follow Linda’s journey from flab to fit over the past year. Linda started working with Evolutionhotel in February 2010. She wanted to lose weight and look better and possibly enter a bodyfitness competition.
Linda has worked very hard since then, she has won the battle against the unwanted pounds on her body and she just entered the Danish Nationals last month and competed in the short class in bodyfitness. It goes to show that a strong will and a good coach is the recipe to success!

This weekend Evolutionhotel will be travelling to Askim, Norway with three of our bodyfitness girls to compete in Norway Open:
Christina Marostordai, Lene Wakefield and Josefa Tariche will compete at this event. Christina Marostordai is a former National champion along with Lene Wakefield, who is just coming off a fresh victory at the Nationals two weeks ago. Josefa Tariche placed 3rd in the short class and 2nd in masters two weeks ago.
Cross your fingers for the Evolutionhotel girls this Sunday!

This past weekend Herning Kongresscenter hosted the Danish Nationals 2010 in bodybuilding, classic bodybuilding, bodyfitness & athletic fitness. Evolutionhotel had eight athletes in the show; five newcomers who were making their debut on the National stage and then three more seasoned athletes.
Our athletes have been working very hard and it paid off this past weekend. We are proud to announce that the eight Evolutionhotel athletes collected a total of five medals and achieved three qualifications for the Nordic Championships in October.

Our plan was initially to prepare her to compete in her fist bodyfitness (figure) competition in the fall 2011. But she’s been working so hard and made such amazing progress that she will compete this upcoming Sunday at the Danish Nationals!
Linda has lost 32 kg / 70.4 lb in the past two years! Since you saw her in May she’s lost another 7 kg / 15.4 lb of fat!
